Even if my previous post was about the fact that top management always look at the tip of the iceberg in IT which is the project part (the one the management sees therefore discuss and arbitrate) - and never at the much bigger maintenance, infrastructure, the so-called 'baseline',... projects are still the core of the future of your company:
Your company tomorrow = Your company today + Projects Portfolio
So the next big question is... how can you maximize the value of your projects portfolio ?
....and then additional questions come: how can you spot early project failure ? How can you manage portfolio risks...? Do you have a good project porfolio management & manager?
